~ i have now officially entered the world of imacs ~
~ a few weeks ago greg and i bought our first ever "new computer" ~
~ we have only ever owned 2 computers before the mac, the first being a used one we bought from a friends computer store and the second was a hand-me-down from my parents ~
~ so we are excited to have one that works so fast and smooth ~
~ what a treat! i am really enjoying it! and now i have a photo program that works, that i can edit with and a screensaver that displays all of my photos! ~
~ and, coming this friday evening, faster dsl service! like 10 times faster than what we have now! so that means i can post on this blog more often because i won't have to wait 5 or 10 min. for the photos to upload, while i run back and forth from my mac to the household task i am doing while i wait! i am very excited about that! ~
~ and one of the neatest things about my mac is that this is all there is to it ~
~ there is no harddrive tower, just the huge screen, the sleek keyboard and mouse ~
~ everything is located on the back of the monitor! pretty sleek, huh! ~
~ and all that means that my desk is a much roomier, cleaner area! that, makes me very happy!~
.we recently spent a saturday afternoon at "grandpa hosties" farm.
.there are 2 frogs that live in his well pump, so every time alannah goes to the farm we have to pump the handle and get the water flowing so that we can get the frogs "washed out" and hence...proceed to play with them.....
" snoopy meet frog "
...alannah is not at all afraid of handling frogs or bugs....she is very curious!...
Then Jesus said to them, "As you go throughout the world, proclaim the Good News to all creation. Whoever trusts and is immersed will be saved; whoever does not trust will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who do trust: in My name they will drive out demons, speak with new tongues, not be injured if they handle snakes or drink poison, and heal the sick by laying hands on them.
I love how God wants to continually reveal to us more of who we are and the gifts He has given us! We need only be open to "growing" and stepping outside our comfort zones for Him to perform His works in and through us. It is for this reason that I share with you my photography, insights into what God is teaching me, ideas on how to parent with a purpose and more. I pray that it inspires you to "think outside the box" and reveals to you the beauty of this life He has given each one of us. And most of all I want it to be a reflection of Jesus Christ. "Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." Ephesians 5:1,2
